I, Dr. (Prof) Vivek Jaglan
have been working as Director/Principal and Professor (Computer Science & Engineering) in DPG Institute of Technology and Management, India. I have combined research and teaching experience of over 16 years in the field of artificial intelligence and have made significant contributions towards AI’s applications in network optimisation, network security and prediction models.
During my tenure, I have supervised seven Ph.D students and eleven Masters students completion and currently supervising four Ph.D students. I have published over 70 high quality research publication in reputed International journals and conferences, majorly in the field of artificial intelligence and its applications.
I have two design patents (India). One of my patents “Tooth Brush With Digital Display” design patent is very unique and includes features which allows the brush to dispense only the required amount of toothpaste recommended by the dentist and verify that the user has properly brushed their teeth.
I have been invited as an expert in the field of artificial intelligence and its approach at multiple occasions.
My research experience includes:
- Designing and developing the lifetime estimation using advanced artificial intelligence based algorithm for heterogeneous, homogeneous power backup in wireless network.
- Designing and developing the adaptive traffic routing practice for load balance and congestion control in Ad-Hoc network in Cloud-MANET.
- Designing and developing the model for energy efficient algorithm considering the temperature effect on the lifetime of a node in a wireless network.
- Predicting the network congestion and designing/develop the optimize model for network.
- Predicting the network security threats and cyber- attacks and designing /develop the secure model for network.
- Designing and developing the secure cloud data storage system using advanced artificial intelligence based algorithm.
- Designing and developing the integrating encryption techniques for secure data storage in the cloud using advanced artificial intelligence based algorithm.
- Predicting the bullwhip causing factor and time stamps in supply chain management system and designing/ develop the AI based software agent model to reduce the impact of it.
- Designing and Developing the artificial intelligence based model and techniques to search the diversity in type Ia supernova and Stock Market Price Prediction Models.
- My current research includes:
- Improving the early prediction of asthmatic attack in geriatric patients using deep learning and machine learning algorithms.
- Improving the medical image processing system for postpartum depression in professional mothers at early stage using advance artificial intelligence based algorithms.
- Security Enhancement of network and optimization the cluster head selection model in wireless network using advance prediction models based on AI techniques.
- Exploring the security threats and challenges in cloud data storage, IoT based model and wireless network.
- Exploring the advance AI based Techniques for brain–machine interaction to improve control.
